The EdgeBCC Business Continuity Center provides a fully-functional alternate workspace for your staff to utilize during disaster recovery. Your company’s managed services can be quickly redirected to the BC Workspace for
maximum functionality and minimum downtime.
Disaster Tolerance
The Business Continuity Center provides temporary workstation space,
Voice-over-IP phone handsets, PCs and flat-panel monitors for approximately 150 workers. Two private conference rooms are available for group meetings, private discussions and planning. A shared break room is available within the facility and several restaurants are available within a few miles.
Upon declaration of a disaster, the EdgeBCC staff begins by implementing the appropriate security measures for each member of your staff. Workstations are provisioned and PCs are configured with a pre-established desktop
image. Connectivity is established for Internet access as well as any
managed services provided through the EdgeBCC data center.
LightEdge VoIP customers will receive almost immediate transfer of phone service to the Business Continuity Workspace. The EdgeBCC staff will contact other providers to re-route traditional telco phone connections to facility handsets.
