The EdgeBCC is a new facility, specifically designed to exceed the increasing power and cooling requirements of the next-generation of computing and storage devices including BladeCenters and storage area networks (SANs). With 100 watts of power available per square foot and 180 tons of cooling per data center, the facility has quickly established itself as a dominant player for both traditional data center services as well as those specific to business continuity.
The facilities power needs are fed through two independent power grid substations, with one as primary and the second on automatic failover. In the event of a power loss from both substations, the data center automatically switches to uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and then to the onsite diesel generators.
The EdgeBCC facility is staffed 24x7x365 by Network Operation Specialists to provide on-site support to ensure the strictest level of security and reliability.
